Concussion Clinic Mississauga
If you or someone else has symptoms that seem urgent or serious, such as trouble breathing, sudden weakness or numbness, or after a bad fall or accident, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department now.
At MyHealth Care Centre, our team offers assessment and care for concussion as part of an individualized plan. A concussion can happen after a car accident, during sports, or after a fall or other accident. We start with an assessment and explain your options, and physiotherapy and chiropractic care can both be part of your plan. Every person is different.
We also see patients from Lakeview and Clarkson.
How Concussions Happen
After a Car Accident
We accept car accident claims. Please have your claim number and your adjuster's contact ready. In Ontario, you should tell your auto insurer about the accident within seven days.
Sports and Activity
A blow to the head or a hard fall during sports or play can lead to a concussion. Our team can assess you and talk through a gradual return to activity that's guided for you.
Falls and Other Accidents
Concussions can also happen after a slip, a fall or another everyday accident. If you're unsure whether you need medical care first, see your doctor, and in an emergency call 911.
