Chiropractic Rehabilitation
Chiropractic care is a vital aspect of injury treatment and preventive health. As a natural and non-invasive approach to health, chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine and overall body function. Chiropractors specialize in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders, the underlying causes of many injuries and chronic conditions.
Chiropractic care is Natural Pain Relief
Spinal adjustments and manual manipulations are used to realign the spine, reduce stress on the nervous system, and promote healing and pain reduction. Chiropractic care also improves posture, balance, and boosts the immune system. This drug-free, surgery-free approach to health is a great choice for those seeking a holistic approach to wellness.
Rehabilitation and Restore your Health
In addition, chiropractic care can play a key role in injury rehabilitation, restoring proper movement and alignment to speed up the healing process and reduce the risk of further injury. Whether you're seeking injury treatment, preventive health, or a natural approach to wellness, chiropractic care can provide the support and relief you need.

What is Chiropractic Care?
Every chiropractor is uniquely qualified to evaluate your condition and identify what’s causing your pain. We invite you to visit our Mississauga Chiropractic clinic.
What conditions do Chiropractors treat?
Some of the conditions chiropractors treat include:
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Strains
- Sprains
- Pain associated with arthritis
- Work and sports injuries
Check with our Chiropractors to discover how a chiropractor may be able to help you. And it’s worth noting that in Ontario, you can visit a chiropractor without a referral from a doctor or other health care professional.
What is Manula Manipulation?
When applied to your spine, this treatment is called spinal manipulation therapy (SMT). Manipulation is also used on other joints, such as those in your wrist, ankle or foot, as an effective treatment.
What happens after my first visit?
Chiropractic care is the primary method of treatment for many medical conditions, such as low back pain. For other conditions, such as pain associated with arthritis, diabetes or osteoporosis, chiropractors and other health professionals recommend an interprofessional approach. So in these situations, your chiropractor will coordinate with other health care professionals in your circle of care to support your overall treatment. Working with this team, they will provide chiropractic care to relieve your spine, muscle or joint pain.
What options are there for Chiropractic treatment?
- Manual, ‘hands-on’ therapy
- Soft tissue therapy
- Electronic modalities, such as therapeutic ultrasound and cold laser therapy
- Customized, therapeutic exercise programs
- Self-management tools and techniques (like positions for relief or coping strategies for pain)
- Advice and education
What options are there for Chiropractic treatment?
Whether we’re at home, work or out and about, daily living puts strain on our bodies. As a result, you may suffer from persistent headaches, migraines, back, neck or joint pain. You may also have this type of pain due to an injury, accident, illness or long-term condition.
Taking pain relievers and anti-inflammatory medications may temporarily alleviate your symptoms but may not address the underlying cause. They may also create new health challenges. Consider visiting a chiropractor instead. Using primarily their hands, your chiropractor will treat these issues without medication or surgery and help prevent them from returning. But you don’t have to have an issue or be in persistent pain to visit a chiropractor. They can help you at many other times.
